I've had this boutique on Domain Road for six years.

It started because I got sick of driving into Tauranga every time I wanted something decent. Papamoa had grown, plenty of us were living out this way, and there was still nowhere local to buy anything you'd actually want to wear.

So I took a small space and filled it with pieces I'd wear myself. Not what was trending, not what looked good folded on a shelf. Things you can put on at seven in the morning and forget about all day.

Every piece goes through the same test. Would I wear it? Would I feel good about what a woman sees in the mirror when she tries it on? If either answer is no, it doesn't come in.

The new season's range lands next month, all of it at once, and I've got one stockroom that's already full. So everything currently on the floor has to go first. Same stock I chose myself, piece by piece, same standards I've always kept, just at prices I'd never normally put on it.

Once a size goes, it's gone. I'm not reordering any of this range.

Take your time looking through. If something makes you stop, that's usually the one.
